GUINNY is a DJ, producer, and singer who fuses her sets with all the flavours of House, Disco, and Techno from far and wide while staying true to her musician roots, keeping instruments and organic grooves at the core. She recently signed with Toy Tonics and has just dropped her self-produced debut 5-track EP with the Berlin-based label.
While taking you on a musical journey of Raw Rhythm & Deep Grooves, underneath the music lies a message. In reaction to the current state of the world, the theme of this set is that of peace and morality. Throughout, each track harnesses an individually framed sentiment of peace. Opening with ‘Mama’ by Dave Walters, speaking of setting yourself free of your ego. Led on to Peter Croce’s ‘Revival’ featuring Reverend William Barber II, preaching faith and morality, and closing the show with a clear and simple message of peace in the form of the Roy Davis & Peven Everett classic ’Gabriel’.
